I really like your travel plan and cherry blossom is a fabulous festival in Washington DC you will go there and enjoy the beauty of cherry flower. You can enjoy there some kinds of activities as Hiking, walking, camping, making a picnic party, and cycling. Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens Spring Flower Exhibit
Rochester Lilac Festival
Albany Tulip Festival
Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park Spring Wildflower and Orchid Show.
These are are the best cherry blossom festival in new york you guys must visit these festivals.
