Car charging near the bar

When there are electric charging stations  near the bar, this is, of course, good, but what's the point of it? Does anyone really drive to the bar in their own car? I don’t understand such extreme sports and always leave the car at home and take a taxi back. Well, or I take advantage of the kindness of those comrades who will rather not drink, but will not part with their car. Freaks.
